Conservation Status Berthold Lubetkin Residential Blocks

Priory Green Estate was built in the 1950s and now has a Conservation Area status. This development was designed by the architect Berthold Lubetkin known for his pioneering work with concrete. UKG worked with Vinci Facilities and their client Peabody to renovate and regenerate the unusually designed concrete components to the resident blocks throughout this estate.

 

Concrete Refurbishment for 1970’s Roupell Estate

Roupell Park Estate is located in the London Borough of Lambeth and was built in the 1970s. It was designed by Lambeth’s first borough architect Ted Hollamby.UKG worked on a 9-month concrete refurbishment project with Mears and their client Lambeth Council to renovate and regenerate the concrete components to the resident blocks throughout this estate. The finish needed to complement the architect’s vision for this development.

Inverted Roof System for Schoolyard Estate, SW London

Peachey House is one of six modern four storey residential blocks, which form the Schoolyard Estate in South West London. The construction of this estate was completed only around 5 years previously. The roof finish had developed a significant number of defects and many residents were complaining about significant water ingress so Prokol were commissioned to design a roof system fit for purpose.

 

Five Year Fabric Repairs Contract for Havering Borough Council

In April 2021, UKG was contracted to undertake all fabric repairs, including concrete, brickwork and render, to properties and apartment blocks across a variety of housing estates within the boundaries of Havering Council District. We are involved through all stages of works from site surveying, and providing quantified budget scopes of works at pre-construction stage. Once validated, we undertake all repairs ready for the decorating contractor to complete coatings where required.
